HISTORY OF PGC

Portland General Contracting began in 2018. What began as a small restoration company has now flourished into a company that takes on both small and large projects, that range from old to new. Co-Owner and Head Contractor, Connor McWilliams has an amazing eye for detail and a deep love of old buildings. He prides himself in his craft and will not finish the job unless it is immaculate and just as the client likes it. You can tell down to the detail that this is his passion and his craft

Built from the ground up

Connor officially got his start in his early 20s and has been working and learning more about the craft ever since. He began as just one of the guys on the crew and quickly worked his way up to head contractor at PGC. “Measure twice, cut once” is what he lives by and perfectionism has been an integral factor in his work.

Although Connor has years of experience on his own, he has assembled a team of skilled professionals who embrace his company culture and respect his processes of restoration and perfection. The company and his team really are his family and when you become our client we will deliver the same amount of care and time as we would to our own projects.

Regardless of size, Connor treats each project as if it were his own home or business, down to the last detail.
